Facial Specialist School Near Orlando: Plan Your Training in Longwood

By Dermaline Academy · Published

Looking for a beauty school near Orlando? Start by matching the training to the work you want to do. Dermaline Academy is a skincare-focused school in Longwood, Florida, serving the Greater Orlando and Central Florida area. Our campus is in Longwood, not in the city of Orlando.

Choose the training that matches your goal

Our 220-hour Facial Specialist Diploma combines skincare theory with supervised practical training. If your goal is facial care, explore the curriculum and discuss entry requirements with admissions. If you are looking for a full cosmetology program covering hair or nail training, this facial specialist diploma is a different course of study.

We also offer separate 1–2 day certificate courses in Advanced Lashes, PMU / Microblading, and Threading. Diploma enrollment is not required for these courses; course prerequisites apply. Ask admissions to confirm the current course dates, materials, and requirements for your background.

What can I study online, and when do I need to attend?

The diploma includes 149 hours of online theory and 71 hours of in-person practical training at our Longwood school. Online learning does not replace the required hands-on attendance. Students receive access to our learning platform for theory, exams, training resources, and demonstration videos alongside their practical instruction.

Rolling enrollment means your start date, practical sessions, study expectations, and completion timeline are arranged with admissions. Before enrolling, discuss how the in-person requirements fit your work, family commitments, and travel from Orlando.

Plan a visit to our Longwood campus

Visit us at 966 W State Rd 434, Longwood, Florida 32750. Check directions from your own starting point and allow for traffic at the time you expect to attend practical sessions. Travel time varies; a visit can help you decide whether the location works for you.

Request a tour before traveling so we can arrange a time with you. On your visit, meet the instructor, see the training space, ask how you will receive feedback, and discuss your goals. A tour request is not a confirmed appointment or enrollment.

Questions to ask when comparing schools

Ask which services the program prepares you to perform, what supervised practice involves, how online theory and exams are completed, and what attendance is required. Review the course catalog and enrollment agreement, including policies and fees, before making a decision.

School completion and Florida registration are separate steps. Ask about the current registration process and requirements; graduation does not automatically register you with the state. Avoid choosing a program based only on a search ranking or assuming every beauty school offers the same training.
